What is Frontline Gold?

Frontline Gold is a monthly topical flea, tick, and chewing lice preventative for dogs and cats. Frontline Gold starts killing fleas in just 30 minutes and kills 100% of adult fleas on your pet within 12 hours and 100% of all ticks and chewing lice within 48 hours. Frontline Gold has a triple action formula. Its 3 secret weapons, fipronil and (S)-methoprene and pyriproxyfen, make it relentless at killing fleas, flea eggs and larvae, as well as ticks. Regular use of Frontline Gold on your pet may reduce flea infestations in the home.

For: Cats/Kittens and Dogs/Puppies (8 weeks of age and older)

Benefits:

• Kills all existing fleas on your pet within 12 hours

• Kills ticks and chewing lice

• Triple action formula eliminates adult fleas and ticks and flea eggs and larvae

• Waterproof formula

•Each application provides a full month of protection

How it works:

Frontline Gold has 3 secret weapons: fipronil, to take out adult fleas and ticks AND (S)-methoprene and pyriproxyfen to kill the next generation of flea eggs and larvae before they can develop into adult fleas. Once Frontline Gold is applied, fipronil stores itself in the oil glands in your pet's skin. It then works continuously for 1 month as it is released from the hair follicles onto the skin and coat. The active ingredients are stored in the sebaceous glands and are wicked out of the hair follicles and continuously re-applied to the coat for long-lasting, waterproof protection.

Cautions:

Your pet may experience some temporary irritation at the site of application. If signs persist or become more severe within a few days of application, consult your veterinarian immediately.
